Complex data structure for international development agency
MRAG specialise in promoting the sustainable utilization of natural resources. Based in Queen Street London W1, they have a core staff of more than 30 specialists.
MRAG work in more than 60 countries for government agencies, including the US National Marine Fisheries Service and National Academy of Sciences; UK Department for International Development (DFID) and Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Initially, MRAG came to us with a very dated looking website which had been built in house many years ago. We were able to offer them not just a design refresh, but also a wealth of technical improvements and a range of functionality which make this more like a resource for managing information than just a web site.
The site content goes through an editing and approval process before being published to the live site. The site saves all iterations in a version control system which gives an extraordinary amount of control to site editors and writers. It also provides automatic backups.
