Our Lady Help of Christians, Cowley
Drupal 8 website for an Oxfordshire Catholic Church
Our Work / Our Lady Help of Christians, Cowley
Our Lady Help of Christians came to us with no web presence and no graphics, so we started with a clean slate.
The logo is based on the roof angles of the church which are a distinctive part of the local landscape. We combined this with colours and shapes found in mosaics inside the building to create a unique new identity.
Because the site is so simple to use it has been very effective.
The site is built using Drupal 8 and benefits from it's advanced architecture and content management systems. One advanced feature is an events calender which allows the Church to manage their own diary through a simple interface on the site.
We have also incorporated some secure application forms for many of the Church's activities including registering as a parishioner and organizing a baptism.
The Brand design for the OLHOC logo is based around the structure of the building itself.
The 1960s-designed church has a distinctive angle to the roof, which we used in the device. The colours are taken from a mosaic which adorns the interior.
Our Lady Help of Christians deliver regular newsletters to their parishioners using Turtlereality Newsletters. The system is simple to use - and by using templates that we have set up they get really great results.
